Valentine's Day (Day 14)

I surprised Elise with flowers today.  I had them sent to her work and she didn't believe the receptionist when told they were for her.  I decided they would be nice to practice flower shots with.  I used a low iso because the shots were up close and I wanted to eliminate 'graininess'.  I waited a little to long and the sun had ducked behind our building before I took the shots.  That meant I couldn't close the aperture as much as I wanted to still get enough light for the shot (I decided to shoot in aperture priority instead of manual).

In these first two shots I try to show the whole bouquet.  I was doing all my shots close up so I don't think that I got one full shot of it.

For some reason I really like this flower.  The pink trim on the white flower is beautiful and perplexing to my eye.
