Hello,
My wife, Elise, and myself own a Nikon D60 camera; we have two lenses a standard (18-55 mm) and distance (55-200 mm). For Elise's birthday last June I got her (us) a couple of books that explore the finer features of our camera. Although I have perused them a little bit, the books have mainly sat around. Over the next 28 days (those remaining in February) I intend to take a different picture daily. After February I may, and probably will, continue to do so. My goal in doing this is to gain greater familiarity and comfortability with the D60. Recently Elise and I ordered a 60" tripod that we expect to arrive in February so I am looking forward to doing some shots with that as well.
My blog is called "Daily Pfoto" as a take on my last name, Pfotenhauer, pronounced with a silent 'p' at the beginning.
Best photo I have taken previously:

that's a great picture Alex!! You may have just inspired me to do something similar... I have a Sony NEX-5 camera (just the standard lense so far), and I too bought books about photography (which I've barely touched). Maybe I'll take up your challenge....

Great shot...you and Elise certainly live in an area where you can REALLY enjoy nature AND a camera! Know you'll enjoy your plans and all will enjoy seeing your work...know I will! :)
